“Senior of the Year” Co-Winner Kelsey Brinckman

The Boyertown Area Citizen of the Year Committee is pleased to announce one of the two winners for the 67th Senior Student of the Year, Kelsey Brinckman!

Kelsey is a member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and Health Occupations Students of America. She attends Berks Career and Technology Center for Sports Medicine and is in her third year. At Boyertown Area Senior High, she has been a high honor roll student since ninth grade and has been involved in many volunteer experiences. For her senior project at BCTC, she collected over 700 pounds of pet food and other supplies for the Berks County Animal Rescue League. Once she graduates in 2021, she will be attending Alvernia University for Occupational Therapy. Outside of the Boyertown community, she is very involved in drag racing, where she has won two Division 1 Championships along with many other races and distinctions. Through racing, she is also a mentor to many young racers who are just getting started and need guidance in the sport.
